Coursera also hosts this degree on their platform.

Bellevue University

Bellevue University, a private school located in Nebraska, also offers an online bachelor’s degree in web development. For those who prefer a hands-on approach to learning, BU’s curriculum offers that. They focus on design principles, client- and server-side languages, database fundamentals, and more. Their 127-credit degree is for those who have an interest to develop their skills on full-stack web development. At the end of the course, students will be participating in a Capstone course to show off what they have learned. The course is an immersive bootcamp-like course that showcases the students’ knowledge in full-stack web development.

Brigham Young University-Idaho

The Brigham Young University-Idaho offers both an online associate’s and bachelor’s degree in web development. Their Associate of Applied Science in Applied Technology is a degree that includes a web development certificate. Students who enroll in the course tackle various topics. This includes back- and front-end web development, database design and more. To apply for this course, a student must have a minimum 2.0 GPA plus their ACT or SAT scores. Champlain College

Just like BYU-Idaho, Champlain College also offers both an online associate’s and bachelor’s degree for web development. Their Associate Degree in Web Design and Development is a 60-credit program composed of professional courses, general courses, math elective, science literacy, and a course on Human Behavior & Social Institutions. The curriculum will cover subjects like introduction to Python, writing for the web, and Internet and Web Architecture. Those who plan to apply for this online course must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. An essay and a resume is also part of the requirement.

Champlain College’s BS in Web Design and Development, on the other hand, is a 120-credit degree. Students who enroll in this degree will learn and build key skills for web development. They will tackle 32 key applications, platforms, and programming languages together with essential soft skills like problem-solving and communication. Moreover, those studying under this degree can also choose a concentration to enhance their career paths. The two concentrations they can choose from are Web Design and Web Programming. Lastly, new students with previous credits from accredited colleges can transfer up to 90 credits.
